Our Theme This Year:

At Home In Our Bodies: Owning The Power Of Who We Are As Disabled Women

Day I.  Workshopping Our Way Into Empowerment

8AM – 4PM PM  (Light Breakfast  and Lunch will be provided)

A whole day of interactive power-packed sessions through which we will address:

Social Justice and Ableism

Disabled sexuality and the politics of our bodies

Utilizing  technology and social networks as tools of empowerment and socialization

Embracing the healing power of humor and laughter

We will also have a special performance by women with disabilities who will be interpreting familiar songs that have been re-written to reflect the lives, struggles and otherwise day to day experiences of living with a disability.

Day II: Art, Health & Information Fair

Noon – 4PM

Arts & Crafts by women with disabilities

Books & T-shirts

Candles & Accessories
