• Provide information and education about women’s health focusing on all aspects of a woman’s being from a disability social justice perspective
  • Provide self-esteem enhancing workshops
  • Provide awareness of existing community resources, organizations or businesses catering to women’s issues at the national level
  • Expose women with disabilities to social networking opportunities
  • Provide exposure to creativity and fun by offering a yearly art and information fair that promotes and showcases art by women with disabilities
  • Offer a once a year conference of empowerment which will include workshops, empowerment activities and presentations addressing issues affecting women with disabilities and an empowerment forum highlighting the lives, advocacy, art, and diversity of women with disabilities
  • Collaborate with other women organizations and disability organizations in creating education and awareness about women’s issues as they pertain to disability
  • Offer programs specifically geared to the education and empowerment of girls with disabilities
  • Train women with disabilities on strategies for creating a personal, local, statewide and international environment that responds to the specific needs of disabled women
  • Generate opportunities for local and statewide advocacy as we forge the image of collective empowerment owned by women with disabilities
  • Offer a once a year conference in a city outside of Houston and in partnership with a disability rights organization in that particular city.
